Delivery zones and drivers
Price delivery by area, track what it costs you, and register the people who deliver.
Delivery in Kuwait is priced by where the customer is, so zones are set per governorate and city with two figures: what you charge, and what it costs you. Keeping both means the Profitability report can show whether delivery is paying for itself. Drivers are registered so that every delivered order has a name against it — and so that cash they collect is theirs to hand over.
Open Delivery → Delivery Zones. A set of Kuwaiti governorates and cities is there by default; set the delivery price and your cost for each you serve.
Set the company-wide free-delivery threshold — orders above it are delivered at no charge to the customer. Import and export zones through Excel for bulk changes.
Open Delivery → Drivers → New and add each driver with their name and phone. Drivers are not users — they do not sign in; they are assigned to orders.
Good practice
- Review zone prices when fuel or a delivery partner's rate changes — the cost field is what keeps the margin honest.
