Customers

Every customer's history, balance and address in one place, not scattered across notebooks and phone contacts.

What a customer profile holds

1

A full Kuwait-format address

Governorate, city, block, street, building, floor and apartment, captured the way delivery actually works here, not a single free-text line.

2

Credit limits, kept behind a permission

A customer can carry an optional credit limit, but granting or raising one requires a dedicated permission, not something any cashier can set on the fly.

3

A running balance statement

Order history, total spent, opening balance, credit sales and receipt vouchers, all on one page, so what a customer owes is never a guess.

4

Payments checked against what's owed

A receipt voucher recording a customer's payment is validated against their actual outstanding balance before it posts.

5

Prices for one customer, not everyone

A dedicated custom price list can be created directly from a customer's profile, for accounts that don't pay standard retail pricing.

6

Records with history stay protected

Once a customer has order history, their code can't be changed and their record can't be deleted, keeping every past invoice traceable.

The same customer, everywhere they show up

A customer looked up at the register, an order placed on the online store, and a receipt voucher posted from accounting all point at the same profile and the same running balance, never three separate records that drift apart.

Questions about customers

Can any cashier give a customer credit?

No. Setting or raising a customer's credit limit requires a dedicated permission, so it's a deliberate decision, not something that happens by accident at the register.

Can I give one customer their own prices?

Yes. A custom price list can be created for that customer directly from their profile, and applies automatically whenever they're selected at checkout.

Where do I see what a customer currently owes?

On their statement tab, a running balance built from opening balance, credit sales, and every receipt voucher posted against their account.

Can I record a partial payment against a customer's balance?

Yes, through a receipt voucher, which is checked against the customer's actual outstanding balance so it can't overshoot what's owed.
