Company settings
The name on every receipt, the currency and decimals, what the register asks for, and the receipt layout.
Settings are read by every other screen — the name printed on receipts, whether the register insists on a customer phone number, whether stock is tracked at all. Getting them right on day one avoids re-doing work later; changing the decimal places after a month of sales, for instance, is not something you want to discover you needed.
Open Organization → Settings. Enter the company name in Arabic and English — this is what customers see on receipts and the online store, not the name you registered the account with.
Confirm the currency and decimal places. Kuwaiti dinars use three decimals (0.250), and this setting drives every price, total and report in the system.
Decide what the register requires: customer name, phone, address. Leave them optional for a walk-in shop; make phone required if you run deliveries or customer accounts.
Under Settings → Receipt, design the printed receipt: logo, header and footer text, which lines appear. More than one template is possible if branches need different receipts.
The Online Store switch lives here too. It only becomes available once your plan includes the store; turning it on publishes the storefront immediately.
Good practice
- Set the theme and font once for the whole company under Settings; individual users can still override them in Preferences.
- Print a test receipt after any change to the template — what looks right on screen can wrap differently on 80 mm paper.
